Note that while the records described herein were produced by the churches of the ecclesiatical parishes of The Church of England, for convenience, these pages are organized by the Poor Law UnionsLink that were created in 1835 and comprised civil parishes run by parish councils. For the most part, at the time, these ecclesiatical and civil parishes were geographically similar.
